Upgrades and rewiring

We carry out inspections of older houses to advise of upgrade and rewiring requirements.

The way we use energy now is very different to the way our grandparents used energy. This is why older homes may not be able to keep pace without an upgrade. Often you only find this out when you go to get an air conditioner installed.

Some post war homes, bungalows and workers’ cottages still have the old rubber insulated wiring. Over time this rubber cracks and breaks away leaving wires exposed which can cause a safety concern for your family. If you live in an older home it is wise to have a check-up.
